LAKEWOOD, N.J. - #18 ranked Bentley opened the 2025 season with a 15-6 victory over Georgian Court on the road on Saturday.
Maeve Johnson, who set the program single-season records for goals (68) and points (97) last season, picked up where she left off with six goals.
Amanda Davis, coming off a 47-goal season, tallied four.
Georgian Court scored the first goal 40 seconds into the contest but consecutive strikes by Davis and Johnson at the 11:43 and 11:24 marks put Bentley ahead for good.
The Falcons ended the first quarter leading 9-1 as Johnson and Davis each had four goals.
Bentley extended its lead to 12-1 in the second quarter on goals by Nat Dutkewych,
Callie Burchill and
Caitlin Keenan.

Ashlee Wargo earned the win in the cage as the Falcons were victorious in the first game for interim head coach
Jackie Guillemette.
Betsy Norko had a game-high seven draw controls and
Hailey Bardorf a game-high three caused turnovers.
The Falcons next face Kutztown on the road on February 28.
