KINGSTON, R.I. –
Caitlin Burmester won her second race of the indoor season on Saturday by winning the 800 at the URI Coaches Invitational.
Burmester crossed the finish line with a time of 2:16.56, beating the second place runner by almost three seconds. She now owns the two fastest 800 times in NE10 so far this season.
Bridget Gleason was a top-eight finisher in the 200 with a time of 28.23 and
Hannah Croteau was in the finals as well.
India Haynesworth qualified for the finals of the 400 and
Leesil Gilbert ran in the 1000.
The Falcons will next compete on Feb. 15 at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational, hosted by Boston University.
