David Gagnon each had hat tricks as #11 Bentley defeated Frostburg State at home, 12-5 on Thursday night.
Bentley held Frostburg to without a goal for more than 31 minutes of game time, stretching from the 11:25 mark of the 2
nd quarter to the 9:44 mark of the 4
th quarter.
Kyle Piersiak had three caused turnovers and four ground balls and
Alex Parton notched two CTs on the night.
Nick Kane had a game-high five ground balls.
Ryan Bordiere made nine saves to earn the win in the cage.
The Falcons had a 5-0 run during the scoreless stretch for the Bobcats.
Nathan Alviti had a goal with 10 seconds left in the 1
st half to give Bentley a 6-3 lead at halftime.
In a 4-0 third quarter for Bentley, Adams had two goals and Smith and
Brady Glass had one apiece.
Gagnon scored the final two goals of the game with 1:07 and 30 seconds remaining.
Bentley improved to 4-2 on the season with the win. They visit #2 Adelphi on Sunday.
