Burmester and Tedford Set Pace for Bentley in California

AZUSA, CA. – Caitlin Burmester and Lily Tedford produced standout performances for Bentley at the Bryan Clay Invitational out in California this weekend.

Burmester ran the East Region's fastest outdoor time so far this season in the 800 with a time of 2:13.88.

She also clocked the region's second fastest time in the 1500 at 4:39.64. Burmester already owns the region's fastest outdoor time in that event at 4:36.14, set on March 28 at SNHU.

Tedford also ran a strong race in the 1500 and clocked a time of 4:40.49 for the third fastest time in the region so far.

The Falcons also competed at the George Davis Invitational hosted by UMass Lowell on Saturday. Hannah Croteau was the team's top finisher, in 12th in the 400 (1:05.29).
