AMHERST, Mass. – Caitlin Burmester was the top NCAA D-II runners in two events during the New England Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by UMass Amherst Saturday.

Among all NCAA D-II runners, Burmester was the top runner in the 800-m, posting a time of 2:16.94. She was 10
th overall out of 32 runners. Burmester was also tops in the division for the 1500-m, crossing the finish line in 4:38.50. Overall she was sixth out of 26 in the 1500-m.
Just last week Burmester won Northeast-10 Championship gold medals in the 800-m and 1500-m.
