Moore Nominated for Allstate NACDA Good Works Fall Team

Gracie Moore
WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University senior field hockey player and team captain Gracie Moore (Pittsfield, Maine/Maine Central Institute) has been nominated for the Allstate NACDA Good Works team for Fall Sports.

The Allstate NACDA Good Works Team is an initiative to recognize and honor student-athletes who demonstrate levels of volunteerism and civic engagement that are above and beyond their success and achievements in the classroom and competition. The goal of the program is to provide recognition for these future community leaders, their teams, academic institutions, and the communities they support.

NACDA and Allstate will announce the fall Good Works Team in late August.

"These student-athletes represent the kind of leadership that strengthens communities across the country and prove that purpose and impact go hand in hand with athletic excellence," said Elizabeth Brady, Allstate's chief marketing, customer and communications officer.

128 student-athletes were nominated from across the country with Moore the only one from a Northeast-10 institution. She was one of seven field hockey players nominated across all three divisions.

Moore led Bentley in scoring last season, with seven goals and two assists, and was voted to the All-Northeast-10 third team.

Moore is a leader in the Cru and Athletes in Action organizations at Bentley. Last spring, Moore was involved in a Cru mission to the Dominican Republic, in which Cru and Filter of Hope partnered with local churches to connect with the community, spending about two hours with each family they had the opportunity to meet and provide water filters for.

Moore, who earned Academic All-Northeast-10 honors following the 2024 season, also volunteered at a youth football camp this summer.

Bentley field hockey will embark on a three-game trip to Europe August 8-16 with the Falcons visiting Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.
