WALTHAM, Mass. – After starting the 2025 season on the road the Bentley women's soccer team plays its first two matches at home this week against Assumption and Queens.
The Falcons host Assumption in a non-conference match on Thursday at 3:30 and Queens on Saturday at 12:00 pm.
The team will be looking to continue its success at home from 2024 when they went undefeated at 6-0-4.
Bentley is 1-1 to begin 2025 after a come from behind 2-1 win over Molloy on opening day and a 1-0 defeat to Wilmington.
In the victory over Molloy the Falcons rallied from 1-0 down with two goals in the second half from a pair of freshmen,
Annie Vigue and
Tilly Fitzgibbons. Vigue scored the tying goal in the 65
th minute and Fitzgibbons the winner in the 87
th.
Fitzgibbons was named the NE10 Rookie of the Week on Monday.
Bentley and Assumption tied last season's game 1-1. They will play again later this season, with NE10 points on the line, on October 8 in Worcester.
The Falcons are 4-1 all-time against Queens. The last meeting was in 2016.
