WALTHAM, Mass. – The 2025-26 season for the Bentley women's golf team, the second in school history, gets underway on Saturday at the Hartford Hawks Women's Invitational.
The two-day event at Keney Golf Club in Windsor, Conn., gets underway on Saturday and concludes Sunday.
Following that the team competes at the one-day Franklin Pierce Invitational on Sept. 18 before the Northeast 10 Championships on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 at Stonebridge Country Club in Goffstown, N.H.
Six players return from last season's inaugural women's golf team.
Tanya Chowdary is the leading returner based on scoring average.
Head coach
David Scholnick expects a number of freshmen to be early contributors, including
Isabel Gonzalez-Villarreal and
Gaby Becker.
Following the NE10 Championships the Falcons have three other tournaments to look to in the fall season. The Polar Bear Shootout at Brunswick Golf Club in Brunswick, Maine (Oct. 4-5), the Battle at Bull's Bridge at Bull's Bridge Golf Club in South Kent, Conn. (Oct. 7), and the Saint Anselm Hawk Invitational at Derryfield Country Club in Manchester, N.H. (Oct. 20-21).
