Falcons go 2-1 at WPI Meet with wins over Adelphi and Felician

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Bentley women's swimming and diving team began a busy week with a 2-1 record at WPI on Tuesday.

The Falcons defeated Adelphi (200-87) and Felician (171-106) and fell to the hosts WPI (158-121).

Individually, Taylor White and Skyla Lang each won races.

White won the 1000 freestyle and Lang was victorious in the 200 IM.

The 400 free relay team also picked up a win. That squad featured White swimming leadoff, followed by Samantha Jackson, Bella Montanari and Fotini Anastadiadou on the anchor leg.

The Falcons had a number of podium finishes throughout the day as well.

White was second in the 200 back and Lang was second in the 100 breaststroke.

Caroline Ubert was third in the 100 fly and Anastadiadou, the newly minted NE10 Rookie of the Week, was third in the 200 fly.

In the diving events, Rishika Moorthy finished second in both the 1 and 3 meter events.

Following the meet today, Bentley has two competitions this weekend. They visit Southern Connecticut on Saturday and host Bridgewater State on Sunday for Senior Day.
