Bentley swims past Pace 187-98 in final meet before NE10s

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -Bentley men's swimming and diving defeated Pace 187-98 in the final dual meet before the Northeast 10 Championships in three weeks.

Ethan Rehkopf won three races for the Falcons, in the 50 and 100 free and the 100 fly. He swam an even 22.00 in the 50 free and a 48.78 in the 100 free. His winning time in the 100 fly was 54.07.

Daniel Ivanchikov and Jack Meekins won two individual races.

Ivanchikov was victorious in the 200 fly (1:55.20) and the 200 back (1:57.73), while Meekins touched first in the 200 free (1:48.14) and the 500 free (5:02.30).

Leighton Wielgoszinksi won the marathon 1650 free by over a minute with a time of 16:39.30. Matt Walden earned a win in the 100 back (54.61).

Owen Angkatavanich swept the diving events, scoring 238.28 in the 1 meter and 234.68 in the 3 meter.

The meet closed with the 400 free relay team of Ivanchikov, Meekins, Wielgoszinski and Alex Kosel winning in 3:16.17.
