WALTHAM, Mass. –
Skyla Lang was named the Northeast 10 Women's Swimmer of the Week on Tuesday after she won two races and a relay in Bentley's meet against Pace.
Lang won in the 200 IM and 200 butterfly, and she swam the anchor leg for the victorious 400 free relay team.
Her time in the 200 IM of 2:10.63 won the race by almost nine seconds and is the third fastest in the NE10 so far this season. She touched first in the 200 fly by more than five seconds with a time of 2:18.28.
The 400 free relay team consisted of
Taylor White, Bella Montanari,
Fotini Anastasiadou and Lang.
This is the second time in her career she has been named the NE10 Swimmer of the Week.
The meet against Pace on Saturday was the final dual meet of the season. The Falcons next compete at the Northeast 10 Championships from February 12-15 in Worcester.
