WALTHAM, Mass. – The Bentley women's golf team is in the Greater Philadelphia area preparing for the Northeast 10 Championship at the Jeffersonville Golf Club in Morristown, Pa. The two-round tournament starts Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 11 a.m. Tee time for Thursday is 8:30 a.m.
It is the Falcons' second visit this fall to Jeffersonville Golf Club. Bentley previously placed second out of eight teams in the Jefferson Fall Invitational (Sept. 23-24).
The Falcons have high expectations after earning second place in the 2025 NE10 Championship, back when
Isabel Gonzalez won the individual crown as a freshman. Gonzalez shot 77-73-150, winning the title by 14 strokes. As a team, Bentley shot 333-354-687. The Falcons ended up 23 strokes shy of first-place Adelphi.
Backed by Gonzalez, this year's Falcons are positioned for an even stronger run at the NE10 Championship. Newcomers
Tori Adams and
Hani Lee have already made significant impacts for the program.
Adams earned NE10 Rookie of the Week after she tied for 23
rd out of 55 golfers in the Merrimack Invitational (Sept. 14-15). Bentley was the only team in the tournament that was not NCAA Division I. Adams shot 79-80-79-238 through the three rounds. She accumulated seven birdies in all.
Lee is a sophomore transfer from Minnesota (NCAA Division I). She did not compete last year, thus she has freshman eligibility. Lee was named the NE10 Rookie of the Week after she led the Falcons to second place in the Thomas Jefferson Fall Invitational (Sept. 23-24). She shot 84-79-163, placing fourth overall.
Adams (86-78-164) and Gonzalez (89-81-170) also placed among the top 10 in the Jefferson Fall Invitational. They return to that same course this week.
Riley Eames and
Victoria Suarez round out Bentley's five golfers for the conference championship.
