WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley's head hockey coach
Andy Jones was named a finalist for the Spencer Penrose Award, given to the Division I Men's Hockey Coach of the Year.
Jones is one of ten finalists for the award, which is given annually by the American Hockey Coaches Association. He was named the 2025-26 Atlantic Hockey Coach of the Year on March 17.

Jones led Bentley to its second straight Atlantic Hockey championship on March 21 with a 3-2 victory over Sacred Heart. That earned the Falcons their second straight trip to the NCAA Tournament.
Bentley also won the Atlantic Hockey regular season championship for the first time in program history this year.
The Falcons finished with a record of 23-12-5. That tied the program record for wins that was set by the 2024-25 squad.
The winner of the 2025-26 Spencer Penrose Award will be announced on April 29.
