Box Score COLCHESTER, Vt. – Bentley closed out the regular season with a 16-11 victory at Saint Michael's.
Callie Burchill had four goals to lead the Falcons attack.
The win improved Bentley's NE10 record to 5-4. They clinched a spot in the NE10 Championship playoffs and will play in the quarterfinal round on Saturday, with the opponent and location determined later on Tuesday.
Burchill's four goals took her tally to 41 on the season. It's her fourth game this season with at least four goals.
Caitlin Keenan notched five assists to take her tally to 32 on the season. She's now just four assists away from 100 for her career.
Bentley led just 6-5 after a Purple Knights goal with 4:57 left in the second quarter. But after that goal they scored just once more until early in the fourth quarter, a span of almost 22 minutes of game time.

Emily Hayward in the final two-plus minutes of the second half gave Bentley an 8-5 halftime advantage.
The defensive lockdown allowed Bentley to lead 12-6 at the end of the third quarter. Burchill had three goals in the third quarter and
Sophia Pope had a woman-up goal.
In the fourth quarter a 3-0 Falcons run featured a goal by
Betsy Norko and two by
Ava Pirozzolo.
