WALTHAM, Mass. – Five players from the Bentley women's lacrosse team received All-Conference recognition on Tuesday.
Natalia Dutkewych was named to the first team at midfield.
Callie Burchill (attack) and
Autumn Mathews (defense) were voted to the second team.
Caitlin Keenan (attack) received a third team recognition and
Emilie Bobola was named to the All-Rookie team.
In the regular season Dutkewych had 31 goals and 18 assists for 49 points, ranking second on the team in each category. She led the team in draw controls with 67.
This is her second straight year on an All-Conference team.
Burchill led the Falcons with 41 goals in the regular season and was second with 46 draw controls. She had nine games with at least three goals, with a season-high of six against Adelphi on March 15.
Mathews was a two-time NE10 Defensive Player of the Week, most recently on Monday. She was among the league leaders in both caused turnovers with 27 and ground balls with 38.
Keenan earned her second career All-Conference honor. She was among the NE10 leaders in both assists with 32 and points with 52 and led Bentley in each category, to go along with 20 goals.
In Saturday's win over Southern Connecticut she notched her 100th career assist, making her just the fourth player in program history to reach that milestone.
Bobola scored 16 goals to lead all Bentley newcomers. She notched five goals in a win over Southern New Hampshire on March 25 and was named the NE10 Rookie of the Week on March 30.
After Saturday's win over Southern Connecticut in the quarterfinals, Bentley will play Pace in the semifinals on Wednesday at 6:00 pm.
