Courtney Finn '14 was elevated to Senior Associate Athletic Director in July 2026. Finn has been on the Bentley Athletics staff since 2014, starting out as an operations assistant. In 2017, she was promoted to Assistant Director of Financial Operations. Finn was promoted again to Associate Athletic Director in 2021. She also continues to serve as the Senior Woman Administrator.
In her role, Finn oversees the department's day-to-day operations and leads several core administrative and support units, including business and financial operations, sports medicine, strength and conditioning, equipment services, student-athlete development, human resources, and sport supervision. She manages a multi-million-dollar operating budget and oversees athletic financial aid, ensuring compliance with NCAA regulations while supporting equitable resource allocation. Finn directs departmental forecasting, reporting, and long-term financial planning, while also playing a central role in managing endowments, donor-supported initiatives, procurement processes, and key operational contracts.
As a senior administrator, Finn works closely with university partners in undergraduate and graduate admissions, financial aid, and campus leadership to support enrollment, retention, and student success initiatives. She represents Bentley Athletics on numerous campus, conference, and national committees and contributes significantly to the department's strategic planning efforts, helping align athletics with broader institutional goals related to enrollment, fundraising, community engagement, and organizational growth.
In her capacity as Senior Woman Administrator, Finn serves as a leading advocate for gender equity, inclusion, and student-athlete welfare. She works collaboratively across the institution and conference to advance Title IX initiatives and plays an integral role in the development, implementation, and assessment of the department's strategic plan.
Finn joined the Bentley staff in 2014 as an athletics operations assistant and has steadily progressed through a series of leadership roles, including Assistant Director for Financial Operations, Associate Athletics Director, and her current position as Senior Associate Athletics Director. Her professional advancement reflects a longstanding commitment to Bentley Athletics and a track record of effective leadership across multiple functional areas.
Prior to her administrative career, Finn was a standout student-athlete for the Bentley women's basketball program. A two-year team captain and WBCA All-American, she helped lead the Falcons to the 2014 NCAA Division II National Championship and ranks among the program's all-time leaders with more than 1,500 points and 750 rebounds.
A native of Winthrop, Massachusetts, Finn resides in Waltham. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Management from Bentley University in 2013 and an MBA in 2015.
