Since joining Bentley Athletics in the summer of 2025, Sam Edge has played a key role in overseeing event management, facility management, and marketing efforts across the department's athletic programs.
Edge achieved his Master's Degree in Sports Management from Springfield College in the spring of 2025. Through his two years at Springfield, Edge was a graduate assistant in the athletics department. He was in charge of game day operations, scheduling staff, and was the Tournament Director for the NEWMAC Track & Field Championships.
Edge played college soccer at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, where he was the starting goalkeeper for all three seasons. He was a two-time All-MASCAC player and posted a career-best 1.48 goals against average his senior year. Overall, he totaled 272 saves in 47 games with MCLA.
As a senior, Edge was co-president of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and was apart of the President’s Athletics Advisory Council.
In between graduating from MCLA and pursuing is Master's at Springfield, Edge served as an assistant men's soccer coach at Williams College.
