Stephen Haladyna enters his first year as an assistant coach with the men's basketball program in 2026-27.
Haladyna comes to Bentley from Endicott, where he spent the past three seasons as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator. In 2025-26, Endicott finished the season with a 28-2 record, reaching the NCAA Division III Sweet 16 and winning both the Conference of New England regular season and tournament championships. Haladyna assisted closely in the development of two-time CNE player of the year - and two-time All American Marcus Montagnino, and NABC All American Elijah Kinney. Regularly appearing in the Division III Top 25, Endicott was also selected as the CNE Coaching Staff of the year in 2026.

At Gordon, Haladyna oversaw recruiting, scouting, and evaluating student-athletes. He also assisted with individual workouts, skill development sessions, and practice planning.
Haladyna's previous experiences include three years (2016-19) in the NBA Referee Development Program, working in the G-League (referee operations) and WNBA (strategy/analytics/referee operations).
Following his time with the NBA, Haladyna joined the Tufts men's basketball coaching staff as an assistant (2019-21).
Haladyna helped the Jumbos take home their first New England Small College Athletic Conference, title and advance to the Elite 8 in the NCAA Division III tournament.
Prior to Gordon, Haladyna worked for Zero Gravity Basketball as the Director of the ZGXL Circuit. He was in charge of directing and operating all aspects of the top Exposure League in the Northeast for 100 independent grassroots basketball teams.
The South Hamilton, Mass. native was a four-year member of the Tufts men's basketball program before returning as an assistant coach.
During his time as a student-athlete, he served as a two-year captain and reached the 1,000 career point plateau. He currently ranks inside the top-25 in scoring and 15th in three-pointers made (126) in Tufts history.
Haladyna graduated from Tufts in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology.
