BOSTON – Caitlin Burmester placed ninth in the mile during the River Hawk Invitational hosted by UMass Lowell at the TRACK at New Balance Friday.

Results

Burmester crossed the finish line in 5:08.66 in a field of 82 runners. The junior bested runners from D-I programs such as UMass Amherst, UMass Lowell, Rhode Island, Maine, Yale, Holy Cross, and more.

The Falcon women have little time to rest when they compete in the John Thomas Terrier Classic at Boston University Saturday, Jan. 27.
