WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley fell to Adelphi by a 4-0 score in its final home game of the regular season. The Falcons will play the final two regular season games on the road.
These two teams, along with Pace, came into the game in a three-way for fourth in the NE10 standings with 7-3 records.
The Panthers jumped out to an early 1-0 lead on a penalty stroke goal by Ali Nagy at the 3:31 mark. They added to their lead with a goal by Lana Mignon De Wet at 10:52.
Adelphi then scored twice in less than two minutes in the second quarter on goals by Jillian Riche and Emiline Biggin.
The Falcons, who fell to 8-8 overall and 7-4 in NE10 games, visit Franklin Pierce on Tuesday at 6:00 pm. They close out the regular season on Nov. 2 at Pace.
