BOSTON, Mass. – Caitlin Burmester ran a personal best in the one mile run on Friday at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational hosted by Boston University.

Burmester ran a 5:06.08, which shaved almost two seconds off her personal best, which she two weeks ago at the River Hawk Invitational.

Molly Capece also ran for the Falcons on Friday in the mile and posted a time of 5:35.59.

The field 318 runners featured many Division I runners from top programs in the country.

The Falcons will now prepare for the NE10 Championships which begin next Friday.
