LOWELL, Mass. – Freshman Molly Capece won the 3000 meter race on Saturday at the George Davis Invitational.

In a field with numerous Division I runners, Capece won by more than 17 seconds, with a time of 10:38.31.

Caitlin Burmester placed eighth in the 1500 with a time of 4:36.33.

Hannah Croteau was 11^th in the 100 meter hurdles at 16.74.

In the field events, Mia Bonner was 13^th in the triple jump.
