BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – Bentley cruised past Bridgewater State 173-50 on the road on Wednesday night to improve to 7-1 in dual meets this season.
Bentley bookended the meet by winning both relays. In the 200 medley relay the team of Matt Walden, Kenny Ryu,
Jake Bender and
Tyler Marzano finished first with a time of 1:39.10.
To close the meet, in the 200 free relay the team of
Jack Meekins,
Michael Belpedio,
Brian Garvey and
Andrew Matjucha won in 1:32.93.
Griffin Keliher won the 200 IM with a time of 2:04.89 as the Falcons went 1-2-3 in that race, with
Alex Yurkewicz and
Eddy Erofeyev also placing.
The closest race of the night was the 100 free where Marzano touched first ahead of Zach Ellis by .24 seconds, as Marzano won with a time of 49.74.
Following Wednesday night's win, the Falcons are back in the pool on Sunday when they host Pace for Senior Day at 2:00 pm.
