As part of the Be A Force: Guest Speakers Series, the Bentley football team recently met with former NFL running back Warrick Dunn via Zoom. Dunn played in the NFL for 12 seasons, earning NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in 1997 and three Prow-Bowl selections throughout his career.
Dunn spent his first five seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, followed by six seasons with the Atlanta Falcons. He returned to Tampa Bay for his final season in the NFL.
After his playing career, Dunn shifted his focus to giving back to the community. Among its many efforts, Warrick Dunn Charities focuses on finding affordable housing for people and families in need.

What Falcons Are Saying
"Warrick Dunn reminded us that true mastery means balancing athletic discipline, academic excellence, business ambition, and a genuine heart for service. As Bentley football players, that's the legacy we strive to build, and Warrick showed us it can be done."
-Chadwick Bailey (Graduate, Defensive Back)
"We are very grateful for Warrick to taking time out of his busy schedule to speak to the team. It was very fulfilling to hear from an NFL legend on ways to grow as men, on and off the field. His stories and guidance will have a lasting impact on all of us and future Bentley football players.

- Mike Boutros (Senior, Offensive Line)

"What really resonated with me from Mr. Dunn was that his drive to help others mattered more to him than recognition and how he wanted to help quietly. Hearing this made me realize that true greatness is the impact you can make in other people's lives."
-
Nick Raymond (Junior, Offensive Line)
