NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Bentley men's soccer won its first Northeast 10 regular season championship since 1995 on Saturday after they beat Southern Connecticut State 1-0 on the road.
The Falcons completed an unbeaten regular season in the NE10 at 7-0-2. They clinch the No. 1 seed in the upcoming NE10 Championship and receive a bye to the semifinals, where they will host an opponent to be determined on November 12.

th nationally this week, Bentley extended its unbeaten streak to 11 matches at 8-0-3.
Michael Haikal scored the only goal in the 57
th minute, his team leading seventh of the season. He scored on a free kick from 24 yards out, placing his kick over the SCSU wall and into the top left corner of the net.

Cam Hall made eight saves for his sixth shutout of the season.
Bentley, now 10-1-3 overall, still has one regular season match left, a non-conference game at home against Post on Tuesday at 2:30 pm.
