WALTHAM, Mass. – UNH's Jacob Newcombe scored two goals to lead the Wildcats to a 3-0 victory over the Falcons at Bentley Arena on Saturday night.
A 1-0 game for most of the way, UNH scored two goals in 18 seconds late in the third period to pull away.
Newcombe scored at the 14:15 mark, followed by Morgan Winters scoring at 14:33.
Newcombe scored a power play goal at 13:19 of the first period to give UNH a 1-0 lead.

Lukas Swedin made 24 saves but saw his personal five game winning streak snapped.
Bentley fell to 8-5-1 overall. They host Niagara for a series next weekend for the final two games of the first half of the season.
