MANCHESTER, N.H. – Sophia Poehlein had 14 kills to lead the Bentley volleyball team to its 17
th consecutive win with a 3-0 (25-14, 25-17, 25-21) non-conference victory at Saint Anselm Tuesday night. It was Bentley's fourth consecutive sweep, and its 13
th overall this season.
Poehlein totaled double-digit kills for the 21
st time this season. Defensively,
Erica Borzone led all players in digs with 18.
Lauren Hallas served up a season-high four aces in the win.
Bentley (21-4, 9-0 NE10) hit .239 for the match, improving the team's season mark to .233. Meanwhile, the Hawks hit .133 against the Falcons. Â
Bentley wraps up its regular season with a conference match at Saint Michael's Saturday, Nov. 15, at 12 p.m.
