CJ Scarpa '17 has been named the Coach of the Year (NCAA DII/III) by both New England Football Writers (NEFW) and the Gridiron Club of Greater Boston.

Scarpa, a former Falcon quarterback, had an outstanding debut season as Bentley's head coach. The Falcons posted a 7-4 overall record in 2025, winning the Northeast 10 title for the first time since 2019. Bentley also reached the NCAA Championship for the first time since 2021.
Bentley began the season with three consecutive losses, but Scarpa successfully guided the Falcons through the early adversity. Bentley ultimately won seven straight games to claim the NE10 crown.
Thirteen Falcons earned All-NE10 honors this season. Wide receiver
Isaiah Decias was named the NE10 Offensive Player of the Year, and quarterback
Luke Warnock was named the NE10 Rookie of the Year.
