WALTHAM, Mass. – The Bentley football team placed five recipients for the Hampshire Honor Society, the National Football Foundation (NFF) recently announced.
2026 Hampshire Honor Society
Mike Boutros,
Mike DiPlacido,
Jake Jackson,
Henry Schouten, and
Casey Trodden each earned the honor that recognizes senior and graduate football players whom have maintained at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA. Â
Through the 20 years of the NFF Hampshire Honor Society, Bentley has the most NCAA DII honorees (108).
Boutros, DiPlacido, Jackson, and Trodden are no strangers to academic accolades. That trio earned Academic All-District honors from the College Sports Communicators (CSC) soon after the Falcons won the 2025 Northeast 10 Championship.
Boutros, DiPlacido, and Schouten were each named to the All-NE10 First Team following the Falcons' conference title run this past fall. Schouten also earned All-Region First Team from the D2 Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCCA), and he was named a Don Hansen All-America Honorable Mention. Â
