WALTHAM, Mass. – Sophomore defensive lineman Jake Fredericks was named to the Academic All-America Second Team, College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced Tuesday.

Fredericks is the 14^th Falcon in Bentley football history to be named an Academic All-American. Dating back to the 2015 season, Bentley football has placed nine Academic All-America recipients.

Moments after Bentley hoisted the 2025 Northeast 10 Championship trophy after beating Assumption in Waltham (Nov. 8), Fredericks received the NE10 Elite 24 Award for the highest GPA among student-athletes competing in a conference championship.

Fredericks finished the season ranked third on the team in tackles-for-a-loss (4.0), and he tied for second in sacks (2.0). He was named to the All-NE10 First Team
