WALTHAM, Mass. – The Bentley volleyball team is heading back to the NCAA DII East Regional Final for the third consecutive year. The Falcons topped Post in four sets (25-22, 22-25, 25-11, 25-13) in the second round of the NCAA Championship Friday night.

Elizabeth Blinn added 11. Blinn also totaled eight blocks in four sets, as she remains the NCAA DII leader for blocks per set.
Tory Vitko had seven blocks to go with her 39 assists, and
Elena Coban totaled four blocks.
Bentley's defensive play at the net limited Post's Kristina Peric, who was recently named the D2CCA East Region Player of the Year. Peric totaled 13 kills on 61 attacks, and she had 14 errors.
Although Bentley locked down Posts' attack from the outside, the Eagles adjusted in the second set and attacked more frequently from the middle. The adjustment helped Post win the second set, but it was all Bentley from there on out.
Bentley's serving proved to be a huge difference maker in the lopsided third and fourth sets, after the first and second sets were closely contested.
Sasha Luzina served up five aces in the match, all of which were in the final two sets.
Bentley (26-4) aims for its third consecutive NCAA East Regional title when it hosts Mercy (22-4) Saturday, Dec. 6, at 6 p.m. Mercy is the only team in the region that has taken Bentley to five sets this season.
