Wargo Sets Bentley’s Single Game Record for Saves with 23 in Defeat at West Chester

WEST CHESTER, Pa. – Senior goalie Ashlee Wargo set Bentley's single game record with 23 saves but the 17th ranked Falcons fell to #4 West Chester 14-8 on Sunday.

Wargo made 10 saves in the first half and 13 in the second half. She posted a 62.2 save percentage for the afternoon.

She made 33 saves in Bentley's two games in Pennsylvania this weekend after 10 stops on Friday at Kutztown.

Against the Golden Rams on Sunday, Maeve Johnson led Bentley offensively with three goals. Caitlin Keenan had one goal and two assists.

Bentley (1-2) returns to the field on Saturday when they host Mercy at 2:00 pm for its home opener.
