WALTHAM, Mass. - #19 ranked Bentley cruised to a 21-3 win on Senior Day over American International on a wet Saturday afternoon.
14 different players scored for the Falcons, who remained unbeaten at home at 6-0.
They improved to 9-4 overall and 6-2 in the NE10.
Maeve Johnson had four goals and four assists to lead the attack and
Amanda Davis had a team high five goals.
Seniors Kat Slaterry,
Lily Spaulding and
Joelle Solecki all scored goals as well.
Amber Kiricoples and
Abby Jowett were in the starting lineup for the first time this season as they work their way back from injuries.
Bentley's highest scoring quarter was the first when they scored eight goals. Johnson and Davis each had three goals in the first frame, and Slattery and
Sophia Pope scored as well.
Just two games remain in the regular season. Bentley next plays its final home game of the regular season on Wednesday against Southern Connecticut at 6:00 pm.
