Pat Heber was solid in his six-inning start, and Bolton's home run shifted momentum to Bentley's favor for a 5-4 win over the Yellow Jackets.
Heber struck out five and allowed only two earned runs, but he did not factor in the decision.
Bentley generated little offense through the first five innings. The Falcons trailed, 2-1, entering the bottom of the sixth inning. But leading off, Bolton ripped a line shot to centerfield. The centerfielder tried to make a diving catch, but the ball skipped past and back to the warning track. Bolton slid home headfirst to tie the score, 2-2.
That momentum stayed with Bentley into the next inning. Berardino,
Jimmy Mitchell, and
Jake Maydak led off the home half of the seventh inning with consecutive singles.
Patrick Purcell stepped to the plate with the bases load, and he drew a walk to give Bentley a 3-2 lead. Two batters later, Bolton was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded. The next batter,
Brendan Sencaj, hit an RBI single that pushed the lead to 5-2.
Keegan Antelman earned the win by pitching two innings out of the bullpen, and
Timmy Orie got the save after coming in for the ninth inning.
Bolton, Berardino, Mitchell, and Maydak each finished the game with two hits.

Eigenbrod worked 5.0 innings for the win, yielding two earned runs on three hits. He struck out four.
Bentley had a 1-0 lead entering the third inning, but it added three more runs in the stanza.
Nick Pappas ripped a one-out triple down the left-field line, and he came in to score on a base hit by Berardino.
Two batters later,
Stan DeMartinis III hit an opposite field single to put two runners on base, but they weren't there for long. Mitchell crushed a two-run triple to left-centerfield, giving Bentley a 4-0 lead.
The Falcons added four more runs in the fifth.
Curt Heath hit a two-run single through the right side, and Bolton and Sencaj both collected RBI singles.
