2024:

• Led the team in starts (13) and innings pitched (71).
• Went 4-4 and helped opponents to a .227 batting average against.
• Pitched seven innings and allowed just one run, with a season-high nine strikeouts, in win over Caldwell (March 14).
• Allowed just one hit in 7.2 innings of work and struck out seven, in victory over Pace (April 13).
• Went a season-high 8.1 innings in win over Southern Connecticut State (April 20).
• CSC Academic All-District Team.

2023: Named to the NE10 All-Rookie team … made 13 appearances in freshman season and started eight games … went 4-4 with two complete games and two saves … struck out 57 in 52.1 innings … named the NE10 Pitcher and Rookie of the Week on March 27 following a complete game, 12 strike out performance in a win over Assumption on March 26 … also named the NCBWA East Region Pitcher of the Week following that game … NE10 Rookie of the Week for a second time on April 10 after a three-hit shutout against No. 22 Franklin Pierce with eight strikeouts.

Before Bentley: 2022 graduate of Garden City High School where he was the baseball team captain as a senior … helped GCHS to the Long Island championship as a junior … played in the All-County Senior Game … honors included Most Valuable Pitcher award, the Frank Kiernan Most Valuable Player Award, the William J. Lucano Pitching Award and the Jake White Award (Spirit of Garden City Athletics) … also played for Next Level Baseball … National Honor Society.

Personal: Son of Christine and Peter Heber … has one sister, Alex ... has been involved with the Dom Gatti Baseball Camp … assisted nuns at Villa Saint Joseph … helped his church set up for multiple events.
