WALTHAM, Mass. – Two members of the Bentley women's lacrosse team were named All-East Region by the IWLCA on Wednesday, with
Maeve Johnson voted to the first team on attack and
Kathryn Slattery to the second team at defense.
Johnson was the NE10 Attacker of the Year after she scored 67 goals and notched 19 assists for 86 points. She leads the conference in goals per game (4.19) and ranks second in points per game (5.38).
A Duxbury, Mass., native, Johnson finished her career as Bentley's all-time leader in goals (216), second in points (291) and fourth in assists (75). This is the third straight year she's been named All-Region (2
nd team in 2023, 1
st team in 2024).
Slattery ranks third in the NE10 in ground balls per game (2.38, 38 total) and seventh in caused turnovers per game (1.44, 23 total). She was voted first team All-Conference after three straight selections to the second team (2022-24).
Slattery finished her career with 67 straight starts going back to 2022. She ranks third all-time in program history in caused turnovers (77) and fourth in ground balls (132).
This is her second straight All-Region selection (second team in 2024).
