Waltham, Mass. - Maeve Johnson was named an All-American for the second time in her career on Wednesday when she was named an IWLCA third team All-American.
Johnson's graduate year saw her score 67 goals and add 19 assists for 86 points while helping lead Bentley to a 10-6 overall record and 7-3 in the Northeast 10. The Falcons are ranked 24th nationally by the IWLCA.
From Duxbury, Mass., she was the NE10 Attacker of the Year and first team All-Conference, both for the second straight season. Last week she was selected first team All-Region by the IWLCA, also for the second straight season.
Johnson finished her Bentley career as the program's all-time leader in goals with 216. She's second in points with 291 and fourth in assists with 75. She also holds the single season records for both goals (68) and points (97).
A first team All-American last season, she joins Eliza Bresler as the only two Falcons to be voted an All-American twice.Â
