Alex Parton and
David Gagnon from the Bentley men's lacrosse team were named Scholar All-Americans by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) on Tuesday.
It's the second straight year Parton has earned the distinction and the first for Gagnon.
A long stick midfielder who completed his senior year in 2025, Parton has earned a number of recognitions since the end of the season including NE10 Academic All-Conference, USILA All-Region honorable mention and second team All-NE10.
He led the team with 26 caused turnovers and scooped up 51 ground balls.
Gagnon tied for the team lead with 34 goals and was third on the team with 40 points.
He was a finalist for the NE10 Male Scholar Athlete of the Year Award, in addition to being named second team All-NE10, second team All-New England and NE10 Academic All-Conference.
As a team, the Falcons also received the Team Academic Award from the USILA.
