WALTHAM, Mass. – As Bentley Athletics embarks on a the 2025-26 school year, the Falcons welcome a new face to help manage game operations and overall marketing for the department. During this summer, Sam Edge was named Manger of Athletic Events and Marketing Promotions.

Edge achieved his Master's Degree is Sports Management from Springfield College this past spring. Through his two years at Springfield, Edge was a graduate assistant in the athletics department. He was in charge of gameday operations, scheduling staff, and he was the event director for the NEWMAC Track & Field Championships.

Edge played college soccer at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, where he was the starting goalkeeper for three seasons. Edge posted a career-best 1.48 goals-against average his senior year. Overall, he totaled 272 saves in 47 games with MCLA.

As a senior, Edge was co-president of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

In between graduating from MCLA and pursuing is Master's at Springfield, Edge served as an assistant men's soccer coach at Williams College.
