WALTHAM, Mass. – Elizabeth Blinn totaled 11 blocks to lead the Bentley volleyball team to a 3-0 (25-13, 25-10, 25-11) triumph over Assumption in a non-conference home match Tuesday night.

Blinn came up one block shy of matching her career-high. She had 12 blocks in a win over Lewis in Sept. 2024.

Blinn's defensive efforts helped limit Assumption to a -.174 attack percentage. Tory Vitko had four blocks and 12 digs, to go along with her 25 assists. It was Vitko's sixth double-double of the season.

Sophia Poehlein – the reigning NE10 Player of the Week – led all players in kills with 10.

Bentley returns home Friday, Oct. 3, for a 6 p.m. Northeast 10 match against Saint Anselm.
