HARTFORD, Conn. – Lily Tedford notched a top-10 finish as the Bentley women's cross country team bested a couple of NCAA D-I programs to take third place in the Hartford Invitational at Keney Park Saturday.

Results

Tedford's 3K time of 11:20.8 was good for ninth place. Molly Capece and Samantha Doran finished just outside of the top-10. Capece was 11^th with a time of 11:36.3, and Doran was 12^th with a time of 11:43.6.

Amelia Luetjen (21^st; 12:07.2) and Marissa Rayhill (25^th; 12:16.6) both cracked the top-25 out of 101 runners.

As a team, the Falcons finished ahead of D-I members UMass Lowell and New Haven.

Bentley's next meet is the UMass Dartmouth Invitational (Sept. 20).
