TOWNSEND, Mass. – Timmy Adams is setting the pace for the Bentley men's golf team in its opening round of the 2025 season.

Round 1 results

Adams (+3) is tied for fourth place following the first round of the Franklin Pierce Fall Kickoff at Northern Spy Golf Club Tuesday.

As a team, Bentley's A-team is in fourth, and its B-team is sixth.

Adams' lone birdie for the round was on the fourth hole – a par four. Still, he faired better on the back nine, shooting just one over par.

John Noonan (+5) and Robbie Sluga (+5) are tied for 10^th after the opening round. Noonan notched three birdies – two of which were on the front nine. Sluga's lone birdie was on the par-five fifth hole.

The second round begins at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9.
