WALTHAM, Mass. – Daniel Ivanchikov was named the Northeast 10 Men's Swimmer of the Week on Tuesday. Ivanchikov won two individual races in Bentley's victory over Saint Michael's on Thursday.

A junior from Conestoga Valley, Pennsylvania, he won the 50 free and 200 backstroke races. His time in the 50 free of 21.91 won the race by over one second, and his time in the 200 back of 1:58.78 was good for the win by just over two seconds.

Ivanchikov also swam the anchor leg for the victorious 400 free relay team.

This is his second career NE10 weekly award.

Bentley has three meets scheduled this week, starting on Tuesday at WPI. They visit Southern Connecticut on Saturday before hosting Senior Day on Sunday against Bridgewater State.
