WALTHAM, Mass. – The start of the new month brings the start of the Northeast 10 schedule as the Bentley volleyball team hosts Adelphi Saturday, Oct. 3, at 1 p.m.

The streaks
Bentley enters this weekend's contest with 10 consecutive wins overall, and 36 consecutive wins against regional teams. The last two regional teams to beat Bentley were American International (Nov. 2024) and Adelphi (Oct. 2024).

Aaliyah all day
Freshman middle blocker
Aaliyah Price Gooden leads the NE10 in blocks per set by a wide margin. Entering this weekend, she averages 1.17 blocks per set – the next best average is 1.06.

The crown jewel
Julia Kleinle is having a breakout junior season for the Falcons. Her .360 hitting percentage ranks second in the NE10. She put away a career-high 13 kills against Palm Beach Atlantic (Sept.), and she added another double-digit effort (10) against Monroe (Sept. 25).

The one-two punch
Sophia Poehlein (2.97) and
Lulu Pavan (2.89) rank eighth and ninth, respectively, in the NE10 for kills per set. Poehlein has totaled 10+ kills nine times this season, and Pavan has done so eight times.

Bringing the blocks
Despite playing limited reps this season,
Elena Coban is making the best of her time on the court. In each of Bentley's two previous matches, Coban played in just two sets. However, she totaled four blocks in each of those matches. Coban had a season-high six blocks in four sets against Molloy (Sept. 12).

Hasn't missed a step
Tory Vitko, the 2025 NE10 Setter of the Year, currently ranks second in the NE10 for assists per set (9.18). She had a career-high 57 assists against Palm Beach Atlantic (Sept. 5).

Scouting Adelphi (9-8, 1-0 NE10)
Madeleine Chaapel is fifth in the NE10 for kills per set (3.17), and Casey Mackenzie ranks third in hitting percentage (.342). Ada Isik is the NE10 leader for digs per set (4.49). Adelphi opened its NE10 slate with a five-match win at Pace (Sept. 29). The Panthers were picked to finish the season in second place in the conference, according to the NE10 Volleyball Coaches Poll.
