WALTHAM, Mass. - Bentley senior Jack Kantowski was named the Northeast 10 Men's Golfer of the Week after winning the Saint Anselm Men's Golf Fall Invitational. He led the Falcons to third place in the two-round tournament that concluded Thursday at Candia Woods Golf Links.

Kantowski shot 70-69-139 for the tournament, placing as the top individual by just one stroke. He sank four birdies in each round. As a team, the Falcons shot 296-289-585. They placed eight strokes behind first-place Assumption.

This is Kantowski's first NE10 Golfer of the Week nod this year, and he is the third Falcon this fall to earn an NE10 weekly honor. Braden Yeomans previously earned NE10 Golfer of the Week (Sept. 11), and Tommy Murphy earned NE10 Rookie of the Week (Sept. 30).

Bentley starts up a new tournament in the Post Invitational, Oct. 12-13, at Watertown Golf Club in Connecticut.
