WALTHAM, Mass. –
Rafael Cueto and
Ben Liptak each won two matches to help lead Bentley men's tennis to a 7-0 victory over Endicott in the first match of its spring season.
In doubles, Cueto and
Ansh Chadha combined for a 6-2 win in the No. 1 match. Liptak and
Jacob Hartman were 6-3 winners in No. 2. The No. 3 doubles match saw
Joao Canto and
Jairaj Sehwani win 6-1.
In singles,
Dante Massetta won the No. 1 match, 3-6, 6-0, 6-3. Cueto was a 6-1, 6-1 winner in No. 2 and Liptak won in No. 5 in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2.
Nikolai Pran won in No. 3 (6-4, 7-5),
Javier Pemueller in No. 4 (6-0, 6-0) and
Jacob Hartman in No. 6 (6-3, 6-0).
Bentley will next play on Tuesday against Boston College.
