WALTHAM, Mass. – Having clinched the Atlantic Hockey regular season championship for the first time on Friday, Bentley closes out the regular season at home this weekend against Air Force.

Friday's game gets underway at 7:00 pm and Saturday's game is a 6:00 pm start.
The Falcons clinched the first AHA regular season title in program history with a 4-3 win at RIT on Friday night. With that, they clinched the #1 seed in the AHA playoffs and home-ice advantage throughout.
Bentley will host a quarterfinal series on March 6-8 against the lowest remaining seed from the first round, which is played on March 3.
In this week's USCHO poll, they received the second most votes (27) of any team outside the top-20. At 18-9-5 overall, they are two wins away from a second straight 20-win season.
In Friday's win at RIT, the Falcons scored all four of their goals in the second period. As has been the case throughout this season it was a balanced effort. The goals were scored by four different players,
Stephen Castagna,
Chase Davis,
Arlo Merritt and
Jake Black, and eight different players had at least one point.
Black scored his 16
th goal of the season, which is the third most in the AHA overall and he is second in points with 33. In league games only, he leads the way with 27 points.
Coming into this weekend's games, Bentley leads the AHA in goals scored per game (3.09), fewest goals allowed per game (2.41) and power play percentage (21.9). They rank T-12
th nationally in fewest goals allowed per game.
This will be the second series of the season between Bentley and Air Force. They played in Colorado on Jan. 9-10 and Bentley swept the series by scores of 5-1 and 3-1. Bentley has won five of the last six overall against Air Force.
The all-time series stands at 41-25-7 in favor of Air Force.
Air Force comes into the weekend in seventh place in the AHA standings with 35 points. They are one point behind Canisius for sixth place and the final first round bye spot.
