WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Bentley baseball team ended up on the wrong side of a pitching duel when the Falcons lost at Palm Beach Atlantic, 1-0, Sunday afternoon. Both teams totaled three hits and no errors. What's more, both teams used three pitchers.
The game's only run was scored in the fourth inning.
Zach Eigenbrod made his 2026 debut for Bentley. He struck out four through four innings, and he allowed just the one earned run. Eigenbrod is coming off a 2025 rookie season in which he was named the Northeast 10 Northeast Division Rookie Pitcher of the Year. Â
Ryan Glupe (3.0 IP) and
Caleb Allen (1.0 IP) combined to throw four hitless innings out of the bullpen. They each struck out three batters.
Bentley's next games are in Myrtle Beach, S.C., Feb. 20-22. The Falcons take on Saint Thomas Aquinas, Bridgeport, and Mercy during the trip. Â
