WALTHAM, Mass. - #12 ranked Bentley men's lacrosse kicked off its Northeast 10 schedule with a 12-5 win over Franklin Pierce at home on Saturday afternoon.
Brady Glass had a career high six points, three goals and three assists, to lead the offense.
The Falcons improved to 3-2 on the season and 1-0 NE10.
Bentley led a low scoring game at halftime 2-1 but dominated the Ravens in the third quarter 8-0.
Glass and
Beckett Mehlhorn each had two goals in the quarter. Glass scored a man-up goal just five seconds into the quarter. Goals were also scored by
Ben Kupstas,
Kyle Piersiak,
Harrison Murray and
Charlie David.
A goal by
Brendan Varnerin 3:50 into the fourth quarter extended the run to 9-0 before Franklin Pierce finally broke the run at the 9:10 mark.
Dante D'Amico helped Bentley control possession by winning 12 of 14 faceoffs. Defensively,
Kyle Piersiak led the way with eight ground balls and two caused turnovers.

Ryan Bordiere made eight saves to earn the win.
Bentley next plays on Wednesday at Bridgeport.
