WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley women's lacrosse plays the third game of a season opening three game road trip on Wednesday when they visit #25 ranked Mercy. The game gets underway at 3:00 pm and can be streamed on FloCollege.
Following Wednesday's game, the Falcons play their home opener on Saturday against #20 Kutztown. That is the first of four straight games at home. The following week they host West Chester on March 12 and Adelphi on March 15.
In Saturday's overtime win at Roberts Wesleyan,
Callie Burchill scored the winning goal to give the Falcons a 10-9 victory.
Burchill was one of three players to score two goals. Sophomore
Julia Schreiber and freshman
Emilie Bobola were the others.
Bentley has won the last two meetings over Mercy. Last season they won at home 14-13 and in 2024 they won on the road 16-9. The all-time series favors Bentley, 4-3.
Saturday's game will be just the second all-time meeting between Bentley and Kutztown. The first matchup came last season in Pennsylvania and was a 16-11 win for the hosts. The Golden Bears are off to a 2-1 start this season. On Thursday they play Saint Anselm at a neutral site in Connecticut before making the trip to Waltham.
